AI listens to heart: voice recordings may predict dangerous pressure shifts
NCT ID NCT07443670
First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a smartphone app that records your voice can help detect changes in blood pressure in the lungs for people with heart failure. About 60 adults with a special implanted pressure sensor will record a short passage daily for 3 months. Researchers will later use artificial intelligence to see if voice changes match pressure readings from the sensor. The goal is to explore if voice analysis could one day be a simple, non-invasive way to monitor heart failure.
