Voice nodule breakthrough: injection vs therapy showdown

NCT ID NCT03914092

Summary

This study compared two treatments for vocal nodules, which are small growths on the vocal cords that cause hoarseness and voice problems. Researchers tested whether a steroid injection directly into the nodules works better than a specialized voice therapy technique called the Accent Method. The trial involved 50 adult women with vocal nodules to see which approach improved voice quality and reduced nodule size more effectively.
