New 'Off-the-Shelf' gene therapy aims to outsmart tough blood cancers

NCT ID NCT06533579

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new, one-time gene therapy called VNX-101 for patients whose B-cell blood cancers have returned or not responded to other treatments. The therapy is designed to help the patient's own immune system continuously fight cancer cells. Researchers will first find the safest and most effective dose in a small group of adults, then test that dose in a broader group including teenagers.
