Summary

This study aims to see how well an implanted device called Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) Therapy works over several years for people with depression that hasn't improved with standard treatments. It will follow 500 patients who receive the device for up to 5 years, tracking their depression symptoms, quality of life, and daily function. The main goal is to see how many patients experience a significant reduction in their depression symptoms one year after getting the device.
