NCT ID NCT05031182

First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study compared two ways to remove the uterus for non-cancerous reasons: a newer method called vNOTES (done through the vagina) and standard laparoscopic surgery (keyhole). 145 women took part, and researchers tracked complications like bleeding or infection, as well as pain and recovery. The goal was to see if vNOTES is as safe and well-tolerated as the usual laparoscopic approach.
