NCT ID NCT01698489

Summary

This study created a huge database of cholesterol and lipid measurements from over 5 million people to better understand how different types of cholesterol relate to heart disease risk. Researchers analyzed existing lab test results from patients across the United States who had their cholesterol checked between 2015 and 2019. The goal is to use this information to help doctors personalize future treatments for people with abnormal cholesterol levels.
