NCT ID NCT02578095
Summary
This study tested whether a drug called VK5211 could help people aged 65 and older regain muscle mass after a hip fracture. It involved 108 participants who took the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, starting 3-7 weeks after their fracture surgery. The main goal was to see if the drug safely increased lean body mass compared to the placebo.
