Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called VK5211 in 108 adults aged 65 and older who had recently broken a hip. The goal was to see if the drug could help rebuild lost muscle and improve recovery compared to a placebo. Participants took the drug or placebo daily for 12 weeks, and changes in muscle mass were measured with a special body scan.
