Can an antioxidant pill boost light therapy for skin color loss?
NCT ID NCT03941808
Summary
This study tested if adding a special antioxidant pill called GLISODIN to standard UVB light therapy works better for treating vitiligo than light therapy with a placebo pill. It involved 50 adults with widespread, non-segmental vitiligo. Researchers measured changes in the size of the white skin patches and quality of life over six months.
