First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tested whether injecting vitamins C or E into the gums could help teeth move faster and reduce pain during braces treatment. 51 people with crowded teeth received either a vitamin shot or a placebo every two weeks for six months. Researchers measured tooth movement, root damage, and pain levels to see if these vitamins made orthodontic treatment more comfortable and efficient.
