Summary

This study tests whether adding high-dose vitamin D3 to standard treatment can lower inflammation in people with moderate ulcerative colitis. Sixty adults will take either vitamin D3 or a placebo for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in blood and stool markers of inflammation and track symptoms and quality of life.
