First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at the relationship between vitamin D, a protein called nerve growth factor, and nerve function in adult men with type 2 diabetes who have nerve damage (neuropathy). Researchers will compare vitamin D and nerve growth factor levels among three groups: men with diabetic neuropathy, men with diabetes but no neuropathy, and healthy men. No treatments are given—the goal is simply to understand how these factors are connected.
