Can a daily vitamin pill protect moms and babies?
NCT ID NCT05329428
Summary
This study tested whether giving daily vitamin D supplements to pregnant women at risk of deficiency could prevent low vitamin D levels and related pregnancy complications. Researchers compared two different supplement doses against standard prenatal care in about 105 women. The goal was to find the right dose to keep vitamin D at healthy levels throughout pregnancy.
