First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at how pregnancy, body weight, and genetic background affect the way women absorb and use vitamin D. Researchers will give 160 pregnant and non-pregnant women a small dose of labeled vitamin D and track it in their blood over 40 days. The goal is to better understand vitamin D needs during pregnancy, not to treat any disease.
