Summary
This study is testing whether taking vitamin D supplements can improve heart and metabolic health in overweight or obese Chinese teenagers who have low vitamin D levels. Researchers will give 130 participants either vitamin D or a placebo pill for 12 weeks and compare changes in their heart health risk scores. The goal is to see if this simple supplement can help reduce future health risks in this vulnerable group.
