Summary
This study tested whether giving vitamin D supplements to adults with type 2 diabetes and low vitamin D levels could help improve their blood sugar control. 119 participants took a monthly vitamin D pill for three months. Researchers measured their blood sugar and vitamin D levels before and after to see if the supplements made a difference.
