Can a simple vitamin help tame diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07321223
Summary
This study is testing whether giving different amounts of vitamin D supplements can help improve blood sugar control in adults who have type 2 diabetes and are also low in vitamin D. It involves 108 participants who will take vitamin D while researchers track their long-term blood sugar levels (HbA1c) and safety. The goal is to see if correcting a vitamin deficiency can be a useful part of managing diabetes.
