Summary

This study aims to see if giving vitamin D supplements helps critically ill children with serious breathing problems. It will measure if the vitamin helps them leave the hospital sooner and spend fewer days on a breathing machine. The trial will include 40 children aged 1 month to 16 years who are in intensive care for a respiratory illness.
