First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated Apr 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking vitamin D supplements can improve menstrual cycle health in women aged 19-40 with regular periods. 57 women took either vitamin D or a placebo for about 3 months. Researchers measured hormone levels to see if vitamin D affects ovulation and fertility. The goal was to learn more, not to provide a treatment.
