Summary

This study looks at whether vitamin D levels in the blood can help doctors identify kidney injury in people who have had heart surgery. Researchers will measure vitamin D and kidney function in 46 adults with different levels of kidney health. The goal is to see if vitamin D could be a useful early warning sign for kidney problems after surgery.
