First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at vitamin D levels in 84 adults recently diagnosed with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), a condition that causes easy bruising and bleeding. Researchers want to see if vitamin D levels are linked to how well patients respond to standard steroid treatment. The goal is to better understand the role of vitamin D in ITP, not to test a new treatment.
