Vitamin c infusion trial aims to boost blood cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07283900

Summary

This study is testing whether adding high-dose vitamin C given through an IV can make the standard drug azacitidine work better for adults with higher-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a type of blood and bone marrow disorder. The main goals are to see if the combination is safe and if it helps more patients respond to treatment. Researchers will enroll 38 participants who have not had much prior treatment for their MDS.
