Vitamin c infusion after liver transplant may reduce organ failure

Summary
This study tests whether high doses of vitamin C given through a vein can help people recover better after a liver transplant. About 90 adults getting their first liver transplant will receive either vitamin C or a placebo for 48 hours. The main goal is to see if vitamin C reduces overall organ failure in the days after surgery.
