Summary
This small, completed study tested whether taking a daily vitamin B6 supplement could reduce hot flashes in men with prostate cancer who were receiving hormone therapy. Forty-three participants took vitamin B6 daily for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if this common, over-the-counter vitamin could ease a bothersome side effect of cancer treatment.
