Can a simple vitamin pill calm the anger caused by a common brain tumor drug?

NCT ID NCT07271966

Summary

This study is testing whether taking a Vitamin B6 supplement can help reduce mood-related side effects, like anger and distress, in brain tumor patients who are taking the anti-seizure drug levetiracetam. About 50 patients will take Vitamin B6 daily for 8-12 weeks while continuing their regular medication. Both patients and their caregivers will fill out questionnaires to track any changes in mood during the study.
