Walking plus a vitamin pill: a new hope for Women's heart health?

NCT ID NCT07475208

Summary

This study is testing whether a 10-week program combining a specific vitamin B3 supplement (nicotinamide riboside) with regular brisk walking can help lower blood pressure in post-menopausal women with early-stage high blood pressure. Researchers want to see if the supplement and exercise work better together than either one alone. The goal is to find a safe, non-drug approach to help manage blood pressure in this group.
