Summary
This study tests whether giving vitamin B12 supplements to pregnant women at risk of deficiency can improve their children's brain development and growth. Researchers will give 800 pregnant women in South Asia either a daily B12 pill or a placebo from early pregnancy until six months after birth. The goal is to see if this simple supplement can lead to healthier babies with better thinking skills and physical growth.
