Experts to decide: when should your PT take your blood pressure?

NCT ID NCT07258030

Summary

This study aims to create a clear set of rules for when physical therapists should check a patient's vital signs, like blood pressure and heart rate, during outpatient visits. Researchers will survey 100 experienced physical therapists over three rounds to reach agreement on which patient symptoms or conditions require this check. The goal is to improve patient safety by helping therapists know when these objective measurements are most important.
