NCT ID NCT01730560

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a new type of eye training for people who lost part of their vision after a stroke or brain injury. Unlike older methods that require a lot of effort, this approach uses automatic eye movements to help patients look into their blind area. The goal was to see if this training could improve how well they find objects in their surroundings. The study included 22 adults with stable vision loss for at least 6 months.
