Can a simple chart speed up recovery from eating disorders?
NCT ID NCT02940613
Summary
This study tested if showing patients simple graphs of their eating disorder symptoms during the first few weeks of therapy could help them improve more quickly. It involved 80 people with conditions like bulimia or binge eating disorder. Researchers compared groups who saw these visual charts of their progress to groups who did not, to see if the visuals led to a faster reduction in symptoms.
