First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding visual biofeedback to standard swallowing exercises and electrical stimulation helps stroke patients with swallowing problems. 34 adults who had a stroke in the last 6 months will be randomly assigned to either the biofeedback group or a conventional exercise group. Both groups receive electrical stimulation, and the study will measure changes in muscle activity and swallowing function after 4 weeks of daily treatment.
