Summary
This early-stage trial tests the safety and best dose of combining two drugs—vismodegib and atezolizumab—in adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has returned or spread. Vismodegib blocks certain enzymes that help cancer grow, while atezolizumab helps the immune system attack cancer cells. The study aims to see if this combination is safe and tolerable, and whether it can control the disease better than either drug alone.
