New therapy aims to ease anxiety for those losing sight
NCT ID NCT06651736
Summary
This study is testing whether combining standard low vision rehabilitation with emotional regulation therapy helps people with inherited retinal diseases who are experiencing significant anxiety about their vision loss. Researchers want to see if this combined approach improves daily functioning and reduces emotional distress more than vision rehab alone. The study will enroll 180 participants who have vision impairment from these diseases and are experiencing related anxiety.
