Mind over pain: virtual walks and brain zaps tested for spinal injury sufferers
NCT ID NCT06710808
Summary
This small study tested whether a combined treatment is practical for people with chronic nerve pain after a spinal cord injury. Four participants tried a two-week program of virtual walking and a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique. The main goal was to see if patients found the process acceptable and easy to follow, not to prove it relieves pain.
