Screen vs. scene: can virtual patients train doctors as well as real actors?
NCT ID NCT06030466
Summary
This study aims to understand if virtual patient actors on a screen are as effective for training as real people acting as patients. Sixty medical students will be randomly assigned to practice with either a virtual or a real patient actor. Researchers will use surveys and interviews to compare how students feel about the experience and what they learn from each method.
