Can a video call ease cancer suffering as well as a Doctor's visit?
NCT ID NCT07274904
Summary
This study aims to see if palliative care delivered through scheduled video calls is as helpful as traditional in-person visits for adults with cancer. Palliative care focuses on improving quality of life, managing symptoms, and providing support for patients and families. Researchers will randomly assign 252 participants to receive either virtual or in-person care and compare outcomes like symptom burden and patient satisfaction over a year.
