Scientists create 'Virtual Twins' to predict fatty liver disease risks
NCT ID NCT07430501
Summary
This study aims to create a detailed computer model, or 'virtual twin,' to better understand how fatty liver disease (MASLD) develops and progresses. Researchers will use existing medical data from over 7,700 patients to train the model to predict the risk of heart problems at different stages of the disease. This is an observational study to gather knowledge; it does not test a new treatment.
