Virtual reality steps in to help stroke survivors walk again
NCT ID NCT07200024
Summary
This study tested whether adding virtual reality to treadmill training could improve walking patterns in people recovering from a recent stroke. Thirty participants who had a stroke within the last six months and had a specific walking difficulty were randomly assigned to different training groups. The main goal was to see if this combined approach could help with step timing, stride length, and walking speed.
