New smart device aims to boost shoulder surgery recovery by making home exercises easier to follow

Summary

This study tests a new device called VirtuaCare™ that gives patients step-by-step instructions and real-time feedback on their shoulder exercises at home. The goal is to see if it helps people recovering from shoulder replacement or rotator cuff repair stick to their prescribed physical therapy routine. About 60 adults having surgery with Dr. Brian Grawe at UC Health will take part.
