First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) tool can better measure how retinal disease affects a person's ability to move around. Researchers will ask people with retinal disease and healthy volunteers to navigate obstacle courses in VR while wearing goggles or using a screen. The goal is to see if this VR test can track changes in mobility more accurately than current methods.
