Summary

This pilot study tests whether an immersive virtual reality experience using fractal mindfulness can help women with menopause symptoms. Participants will use VR to practice mindfulness, and researchers will measure changes in symptoms, sexual function, well-being, and cognitive mindfulness. The study also tracks pulse rate and brain activity to see if the intervention has a calming effect.

What this could lead to
If effective, this approach could offer a drug-free way to manage menopause symptoms and improve quality of life.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study, so results may not apply broadly. VR may cause discomfort or side effects in some users.
