First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether watching a calming virtual bathroom scene through VR goggles during a noninvasive bladder test can lower anxiety, improve comfort, and keep vital signs stable. About 60 adults aged 30-50 having the test for the first time will be randomly assigned to either VR or standard care. The goal is to see if a simple distraction can make the experience less stressful.
