First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding virtual reality exercises to standard physical therapy helps people with rotator cuff injuries feel less pain and move better. Sixty adults with shoulder pain for at least three months will be split into two groups: one gets standard therapy alone, the other gets standard therapy plus virtual reality training. The goal is to see if the VR group has better arm function, less fear of movement, and improved quality of life after six weeks of treatment.
