Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) can reduce pain and distress in children with cancer during port-a-cath needle access. 84 children aged 5-17 who reported some fear before the procedure took part. Researchers measured their distress and pain levels during the needle stick to see if VR helped compared to standard care.
