First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) can help caregivers of children with pneumonia learn chest percussion—a technique to loosen mucus in the lungs. Researchers will compare VR training to standard teaching methods to see if it improves skill accuracy and reduces caregiver stress. About 60 primary caregivers will participate, and the study focuses on practical skill and knowledge assessments.
