Virtual reality offers new hope for phantom limb pain

Summary

This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) can reduce phantom limb pain in people who have lost an arm. About 20 adults with phantom limb pain will use VR experiences to see if it lowers their pain and improves quality of life. The goal is to find a drug-free way to manage this common and distressing condition.
