Summary
This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) during cancer surgeries done under local anesthesia can lower pain and anxiety. 42 adults with cancer took part. One group received standard local anesthesia, while the other also used a VR headset showing calming scenes. The goal was to see if VR could make the procedure more comfortable.
