VR headsets take on back pain: new study tests digital relief

Summary
This study tests whether virtual reality (VR) therapy can reduce pain and improve daily function in people with chronic low back pain. About 200 adults aged 18 to 85 with back pain lasting at least 6 months will use VR exercises for 8 weeks. Researchers will compare two types of VR therapy and track pain levels for up to 32 weeks.
