First seen Jan 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a combination of virtual reality mindfulness sessions and bike exercise with brain games could help people with alcohol addiction avoid relapse. 135 patients were split into two groups: one received standard care, and the other added six sessions of each activity. Researchers tracked relapses over 3.5 months to see if the enriched environment made a difference.
