Virtual housecalls aim to tackle teen obesity through primary care
NCT ID NCT07246603
Summary
This study is testing whether a telehealth program called Virtual Housecalls can help teens with obesity manage their weight through their regular doctor's office. The program combines video coaching sessions, exercise videos, and regular check-ins with a pediatrician over 6 months. Researchers will compare this intensive approach to standard educational materials to see which is better at helping teens improve their BMI, diet, and activity levels.
