Webinar vs. doctor visit: new study tests virtual dietitian for coeliac patients
NCT ID NCT07172555
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares a pre-recorded dietitian-led webinar to traditional one-on-one appointments for adults newly diagnosed with coeliac disease. The goal is to see if the webinar is just as effective at teaching patients how to follow a gluten-free diet. Sixty participants will be split into two groups and will complete questionnaires and blood tests over six months. If successful, the webinar could provide faster, easier access to dietary support for coeliac patients.
